Loyda Tamar Esperanza Noriega Mendez

Place Exodo Foundation

Gender F

Age 6

Tamar's parents both work in a clothing factory to support her and her 3 sisters. Even though Tamar is in preschool, she dreams of becoming a doctor. In Guatemala, the doctor-to-citizen ratio is about half of that recommended by the World Health Organization. She is a lucky girl since nearly 50% of Guatemala's children under age five are malnourished. She has fun at the Samuel Program where she gets to sing about and draw the biblical stories. A Mission Life donor who cares would make all the difference for Tamar.
