Nestled in a fertile valley in the heart of Africa, in Rwanda’s capital of Kigali, Africa Hope Initiatives provides a nurturing environment for local children to learn, grow, and thrive at our three Child Hope Centers. We also have a Child Hope Center in the village of Batima, which is south of Kigali.
When you participate in a group trip to our centers, you not only get to see where our children live and discover their joys and challenges, you also have the opportunity to partner with the local mission foundation on projects that will benefit the community for years to come. And in the process, you yourself are forever changed.
What Can I Expect on a Mission Life Trip?
Experience a New Culture:
Step out of your comfort zone and discover what daily living looks like in a 2nd or 3rd world country. It will definitely give you a new perspective. You will leave this experience with a fresh outlook and likely a desire to want to do more.

In Matthew 28:18–20 Jesus charged His followers to make disciples of all nations. On a Mission Life trip, you get to take that call to another nation and share the love of Jesus. Just be prepared to see your own life transformed in the process!
Covid 19 Travel Advisory
We strongly recommend but are not requiring the Covid-19 vaccination. All trip members must sign a waiver verifying they understand the risks involved and will be required to follow the safety protocols for each trip location.
We are continually monitoring the CDC guidelines and travel requirements for each partner country. Requirements may vary depending on location.
